We updated our global best-seller, the Zephyr GTX Mid Ws, to make it even stronger, more technical, more durable and even higher-performance.
The result is the much-awaited Zephyr MK2 GTX Ws, with standout features such as a a dual-density PU midsole that insulates against heat & cold, a tear-resistant split leather/Cordura® upper, a locking ankle eyelet, a lace holster, instep protection against rope abrasion while fast-roping, and a new slip, heat & fuel-oil resistant outsole.
The LOWA Zephyr MK2 GTX MID Ws is anti-static and has a cold and heat-insulating sole complex. The outsole is not only anti-slip, it is also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat. Made on a women’s-specific last.

Independently adjustable lacing zones, one on the forefoot and one on the upper, allow user to customize the lacing tension and do special foot-hold lacing techniques.
The shoe is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.
Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-molding process using a layering process.

Conceived and developed by LOWA, this rubber outsole varies in its rubber blend having a tread design with varying lugs, both factors based on intended use. Ideal for off-trail use.
The shoe is equipped with an exchangeable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in combination with the orthopaedic insoles ErgoPad® work:x and ErgoPad® work:h+ from BAUERFEIND®, is certified and approved for use as occupational footwear in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012.
The sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The shoe provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain.
A sturdy wrap sole construction extending onto the upper ensures good stability.
