The LOWA Breacher GTX MID WIDE is part of a completely new generation of mission boots. The boot’s ankle-high upper offers an ideal combination of stability and great freedom of movement.
In addition to the comfortable dual-density PU midsole with integrated arch support for extra-long marches, the certified ankle protection system with PORON® technology makes this boot the ideal piece of equipment for soldiers and private military contractors.
A combination of highly abrasion-resistant, breathable CORDURA® material and smooth leather is used for the upper. Thanks to LOWA RAYFLECT technology, the smooth leather also reflects sunlight. With its GORE-TEX PROFESSIONAL membrane, the LOWA Breacher GTX MID WIDE is reliably waterproof.
It is certified as occupational footwear in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012. It is anti-static and has a cold and heat-insulating sole complex. The outsole is not only antislip - it is also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat. Individual orthopedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191 can also be provided.

Independently adjustable lacing zones, one on the forefoot and one on the upper, allow user to customize the lacing tension and do special foot-hold lacing techniques.
The shoe is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.
Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.
This shoe model is equipped with high performance protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external impact and is certified (additional requirement AN). The protection of the inner and outer ankles is ensured by a PORON® padding in the affected area. This material is characterised by a particularly high shock absorption. Ankle protection is particularly important in the military sector and for work in rough terrain.
The shoe is equipped with an exchangeable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in combination with the orthopaedic insoles ErgoPad® work:x and ErgoPad® work:h+ from BAUERFEIND®, is certified and approved for use as occupational footwear in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012.
The upper leather of the shoe is equipped with sunlight-reflecting pigments. Due to the reflection, the leather and thus the inside of the shoe heats up less and more slowly, especially in black shoes. This feature makes it easier to work outside, especially in summer.

The sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The shoe provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain.
